Sustainable Courses

Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University has been grouped by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation into the group of universities for local development, with the philosophy of providing educational opportunities for men and women, enhancing personal potential to make KPRU a power source of wisdom for regional development, and producing graduates who have knowledge, ability, and virtue with the aim of dedicating their service to the community, region and country. We offer many courses both general education subjects and specific subjects of the program. All the courses offered at the university are designed to produce graduates equipped with knowledge and skills for living a sustainable life. Below are examples of the courses and subjects related to Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustainable Course Examples

Food Innovation and Business (B.Sc.) – This program in the Food Science department combines food science, technology, and business skills, covering topics like food chemistry, safety, biotechnology, and product development. Students also engage in hands-on activities with local food entrepreneurs.

Public Health (B.Sc.) – KPRU’s Public Health program trains students to address community health needs with skills in health promotion, disease control, and environmental health. Graduates are prepared for diverse public health roles, embodying high moral standards and professional ethics.

Nursing (B.Nurs.) – The Nursing program responds to a local shortage of trained nurses in Kamphaeng Phet and neighboring areas. Graduates are prepared for healthcare facility roles and community health support, meeting critical health demands.

Entrepreneurial Management (B.B.A) – This curriculum, developed by the Business Administration department, prepares aspiring entrepreneurs with skills in business development, digital marketing, financial planning, and product development, guided by experienced entrepreneurs and advisors.

Environmental Science (B.Sc.) – KPRU’s Environmental Science program trains professionals to tackle environmental issues and foster sustainable development. The curriculum includes environmental chemistry, ecology, impact assessment, waste management, and climate adaptation. Students gain practical skills through fieldwork, labs, and community projects, collaborating with local agencies on conservation efforts.
