MOU for the Development of Provinces Through Education, Science, Research, and Innovation

Partnerships for the goals

On November 21, 2022, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and universities within the network at the Mandarin Hotel in Bangkok. During this occasion, they acted as witnesses to the signing ceremony of the MOU for the development of provinces through education, science, research, and innovation between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand.

This is a step forward in driving the progress of work related to education, science, research, and innovation to address issues at the provincial level. Additionally, they announced the success of the collaboration in creating the "Regional Economic Development Plan for the Private Sector 2023 - 2027" under the agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and the Joint Private Sector Committee consisting of the Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the Thai Bankers' Association. The plan was officially handed over to the committee for the private sector to use in planning and proposing projects to drive and address economic issues in the region, with the ultimate goal of maximizing economic development in the region moving forward.

This event marked the integration of cooperation between prominent organizations in order to promote economic and social development at the regional level.
