Workshop on Ability Lifting of Reading Coaches for Vulnerable Children
Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University organized a workshop to develop the ability of reading coaches for vulnerable young children in Kamphaeng Phet Province from November 6 to 7, 2023 at Kasalong Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Dipangkorn Rasmijoti Building, Kamphaengphet Rajabhat University.
This activity aimed to promote reading potential of the reading teachers so that they would apply what has been taught to the teaching of reading. The participants were those who volunteered to help develop children’s reading skill. This training focused on providing knowledge and skills to promote learning through reading, both in terms of how to create an attractive atmosphere for children and reading techniques that stimulate interest in developing and promoting sustainable reading skills in the community. The speakers included Mr. Sudjai Promkart, Project Manager for Promoting Reading Culture, Mr. Chaiarit, Creative Activity Advisor, The Foundation for Promoting Reading Culture participated in this activity to share their best practice to the participants.

Related SDGsVolunteer Project on Preparing for University Entrance
On July 8, 2023, Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, in collaboration with Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, held the project of “Volunteer Teachers Guide Students to University”. This initiative aimed to expand educational opportunities for students in rural areas.
The project provided A-Level exam preparation sessions in Mathematics, English, and Thai, with tutoring led by lecturers of KPRU. The sessions focused on preparing the participants for university entrance exams and building positive attitudes toward higher education. A total of 118 students from 14 schools across Kamphaeng Phet Province participated the program. The sessions took place in Kasalong Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Dipangkorn Rasmijoti Building, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University.
