Clean Water and Sanitation

Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU) plants and maintains trees with consideration for its hot climate and seasonal rainfall, as well as each species’ sunlight, moisture and drainage requirements. This approach helps match planting choices with local environmental conditions.

Along campus canals, KPRU plants Inthanin Nam, Ratchaphruek and Salao trees to provide shade for walkways and parking areas. Planting locations are selected according to the needs of each species. In campus woodland areas, teak and pradu trees are planted alongside the conservation of existing trees to maintain green spaces and plant diversity. These practices incorporate plant water and moisture requirements into the selection of species, planting locations and landscape maintenance across the university.
