KPRU and Tak Provincial Public Health Office Forge Partnership to Advance Nursing Education and Research
Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU) has strengthened its commitment to improving healthcare education and services in the region by signing a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Tak Provincial Public Health Office on September 23, 2024.
The MOU, signed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preyanuch Prompasit, President of KPRU, and Ms. Phetcharat Kitsanayothin, Deputy Chief of the Public Health Office (Promotion and Development Division), establishes a strategic collaboration to enhance academic programs, research, faculty practice, and professional development in nursing. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both institutions, including Assoc. Prof. Wisit Thanyawan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayada Klinchan, Vice Presidents of KPRU, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suphapen Panawattanapisut, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.
The partnership is designed to foster knowledge exchange, support innovation, and promote best practices in nursing, while providing students and faculty with real-world experiences that strengthen professional skills and community health outcomes. “This collaboration demonstrates KPRU’s ongoing commitment to linking academic excellence with local healthcare needs,” said Asst. Prof. Dr. Preyanuch. “Together, we will drive sustainable development in nursing education and health services in Tak Province.”
The agreement will be in effect for five years, creating a long-term framework for joint research, academic services, and continuous professional growth. This initiative reflects KPRU’s vision of producing highly skilled nursing professionals ready to meet both regional and national healthcare challenges.
