Quality Education

Recognizing the vital role of science and technology in driving national progress in the digital era, the Faculty of Science and Technology, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU), organized the Academic Camp for Science and Technology Workforce Development 2024 to inspire youth and strengthen Thailand’s future scientific potential.

The camp provided hands-on learning experiences that encouraged students to showcase their abilities, enhance analytical and problem-solving skills, and develop collaboration and life competencies through creative and enjoyable scientific activities. It also served as a collaborative platform linking KPRU and partner schools in advancing STEM education and preparing youth for future digital careers.

Held from November to December 2024, the program welcomed 3,524 Grade 12 students from 33 partner schools across the university’s service area. Featured activities—such as “Net Zero,” “Water Exchange,” and “Kids Build Homes”—sparked creativity and practical application of scientific knowledge beyond the classroom.

Evaluation results showed an average satisfaction score of 4.48 out of 5 (89.54%), reflecting participants’ high appreciation of the program. Students reported improved scientific process skills and increased motivation to pursue further studies in science and technology.

Through this initiative, KPRU reaffirms its commitment to building a strong foundation in STEM education, nurturing young innovators, and supporting Thailand’s sustainable technological advancement.
