Sustainable Cities and Communities

Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU) has assessed and revitalized unused areas on campus to create safe, functional, and sustainable spaces that enhance educational and community development.

One key project transformed an abandoned storage area previously used for electrical and hazardous waste into the future site of the Faculty of Nursing Building, with construction scheduled to begin in 2024.

Another initiative is developing the former forested area near the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences into a Co-Working Space and multi-purpose activity plaza, providing quality facilities for students, staff, and the local community.

In addition, a 3-rai vacant plot has been designated for the Lifelong Learning and Professional Standards Development Center (LPC), which will serve as a hub for professional training and community learning.

Through these efforts, KPRU reaffirms its commitment to sustainable campus development, efficient land use, and education that benefits society.
