KPRU Students Promote Volunteerism and Community Engagement through the “KPRU Caring for Communities” Project

On 17 January 2024, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU), in collaboration with Ban Sukkum School, organized the “KPRU Caring for Communities” Project for the Academic Year 2023 at Ban Sukkum School, Phran Kratai District, Kamphaeng Phet Province. The initiative aimed to promote volunteerism, enhance students’ leadership and personal development, and contribute positively to local communities through hands-on activities.

A total of 35 student volunteers from the programs in Public Administration, Public Health, and Library Science participated alongside 40 students from Ban Sukkum School (Grades 1–6).

The activities were organized into three thematic stations:

Station 1: School Landscape Improvement — painting fences and cleaning the school grounds to create a pleasant and eco-friendly environment.
Station 2: Educational Media Development — designing and producing mini books to foster creativity and enhance learning experiences.
Station 3: Health Promotion Activities — providing health education and promoting good hygiene practices among schoolchildren.
This project reflects Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University’s continued dedication to community engagement and sustainable local development. It also reinforces the university’s mission to cultivate socially responsible graduates who are committed to the betterment of society in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being; SDG 4: Quality Education) and the Rajabhat Universities’ vision for regional development.
