Policy on Energy-Efficient Building Construction and Renovation
Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University has adopted a policy to ensure that all new building construction and renovation comply with established energy-efficiency standards. This policy aligns with the University Announcement on Measures and Guidelines for Energy Reduction, Section 5.1.3: Design and Installation of Electrical Systems within Buildings, which outlines the following directives:
The design of any new construction or modification must comply with the Energy Conservation Promotion Act (No. 2), B.E. 2550 (2007).
Architectural plans for new buildings must be submitted to the Ministry of Energy for review prior to implementation, in accordance with the same Act.
High-efficiency equipment, materials, and/or energy-conservation devices shall be utilized in construction and system installation.
Any building modification or installation of electrical equipment within University facilities must receive prior written approval from the University.
