No Poverty

The Research and Development Institute successfully delivered a capacity-building program to develop creative economy entrepreneurs and enhance local business innovation. The program supported 50 participants selected from 113 applicants who registered from August 27 to September 10, 2024.

From September to October 2024, participants engaged in workshops that cover in entrepreneurship leadership, legal foundations, business setup, digital marketing, product design, content creation, financial management, consumer behavior, and online store management. Training was conducted by experts including CEOs, SME leaders, and KPRU academic specialists.

Throughout the project, collaborative innovation was emphasized. Five Business Model Canvas plans were developed featuring new food products such as fresh cocoa beverages, Kamphaeng Phet bananas, organic rice noodles, black jasmine rice protein drinks, and mulberry leaf crisps. These were presented during the pitching session on October 6, 2024, where five teams were selected for startup development.

During May 7–9, 2025, selected teams entered the KPRU Idea to Startup 2025 Workshop, advancing to prototype development and pitching. On May 24, 2025, three teams—SART STOUT (craft beer), SUCEN (sugarcane cider), and CAPSALYN (chili massage gel)—qualified for the National Pitching round and received 25,000 THB each to further develop their prototypes. Their products were showcased at DEMO DAY on July 4–6, 2025.
