KPRU Participates in Old Town Conservation and Development Planning with Government Agencies

Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU) contributes to local planning and development through university personnel serving on Kamphaeng Phet Old Town Conservation and Development Subcommittee. University representatives attended Meeting No. 2/2025 on 26 December 2025 at Thung Setthi Meeting Room, on the third floor of Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Hall. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Chathip Rujanaseri, Governor of Kamphaeng Phet Province, and attended by representatives of government agencies and other relevant stakeholders. The meeting considered a building permit application within the Kamphaeng Phet Old Town boundary for workers’ accommodation at the Water Delivery and Maintenance Section 1 office. Participants also reviewed proposed revisions to the 2023 provincial announcement and the subcommittee’s 2024 guidelines concerning controls on government building construction and private-sector development or public utility projects on government land within the old town area.

Through subcommittee membership and participation in these discussions, KPRU personnel contribute to provincial processes addressing land use, construction controls and the review of urban development measures within the framework for conserving and developing Kamphaeng Phet Old Town.
