KPRU Mae Sot Collaborates with Cotton On Foundation to Expand Educational Opportunities
Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Mae Sot, collaborates with Cotton On Foundation to expand access to higher education for disadvantaged young people along the Thailand–Myanmar border. The Foundation supports vulnerable youth from Myanmar, people displaced by conflict and migrant communities, helping them pursue further education and develop skills for their future livelihoods.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, Cotton On Foundation advertised scholarship applications specifically for undergraduate study at KPRU Mae Sot in International Business Management and Entrepreneurship, with an application deadline of 30 April 2025. The Foundation’s scholarship guidelines provided by the university describe support for financially disadvantaged applicants whose families or guardians cannot fund their higher education. The documented support covers tuition and university fees, textbooks and stationery, and living expenses, including accommodation and meals. These guidelines explain the programme’s financial assistance, while the 2025–2026 announcement confirms the availability of a scholarship application opportunity for that academic year. The event offered academic and career guidance, alongside learning stations introducing the university’s programmes. A total of 550 students and organisers participated.
