On 25 February 2025, the Office of Academic Services and Revenue Generation at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU) organised the “Upgrading Community Products for Online Platforms: Banana Chips” activity for the Ban Sahakon Community Enterprise for Product Processing. The activity brought together 50 participants at Ban Sahakon Community Hall, Village No. 3, Song Tham Subdistrict, Mueang District, Kamphaeng Phet Province.

The activity aimed to strengthen community livelihoods by developing banana chip production and packaging skills. Drawing on university expertise, it supported participants in adding value to products made from local agricultural resources and preparing them for online sales, with the aim of expanding market opportunities and generating community income. This initiative reflects KPRU’s role in providing academic services to support local entrepreneurs through product and packaging development, while equipping community members with practical skills for earning a living.
