Student Council Brings Social Innovation to Local School
Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
On July 10, 2024, representatives from the Student Organization and Student Council of Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University carried out a Social Engineering outreach activity at Nikom Sang Ton Eng 1 Thung Pho Thale School. This initiative aligns with KPRU’s commitment to developing students as community change-agents and empowering them to apply academic knowledge to real social contexts.
During the visit, the student team collaborated closely with school administrators, teachers, and pupils to identify local needs and explore solutions that support youth development and community well-being. Activities included group discussions, educational engagement, and participatory learning sessions designed to strengthen students’ leadership, communication skills, and social responsibility.
This fieldwork represents part of KPRU’s long-term program to foster “social engineers” — students who possess both professional competencies and a strong sense of civic duty. By working directly with communities, KPRU students gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, project planning, and creating positive social impact, ensuring the university remains a driving force in local sustainable development.
