Sustainable Cities and Communities

Information technology plays important roles in supporting convenient facilities within organizations during the past four years of COVID-19. Mobile applications and websites are key supporting technologies for managing and promoting news conveniently, as they are accessible for everyone to use anytime and anywhere. Therefore, both private sectors and government organizations have developed their own mobile applications and websites to benefit in management and information support for their target groups and staff.
The KRPU Time system of Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University is a combination of a GIS system, Progressive Web Application (PWA), and a modern website for managing and recording working hours. It is convenient and accessible for executives, staff, and Human Resource staff to access the data faster. Notifications are available, as shown in https://e-par.kpru.ac.th/timeKPRU/?nu=About, announcements , https://e-par.kpru.ac.th/timeKPRU/help/Appointment.pdf, performance assessments https://e-par.kpru.ac.th/timeKPRU/index.php?nu=qn, etc. These are accessible via mobile browsers and the website, making it more convenient for users.
The Office of Academic Resource and Information Technology is a department that supports KPRU's missions. It also serves as a high-quality learning resource to develop graduates and the local community. This department recognizes the importance of designing and developing a management system to facilitate personnel management that is easy to use and can be applied both internally and externally within the organization. This system also reduce the time of commute and time to sign in for everyone.
The Office of Academic Resource and Information Technology also recognizes the importance of designing and developing TimeKPRU https://e-par.kpru.ac.th/timeKPRU/ to facilitate the personal safety of our staff and to minimize contact with COVID-19. This application was developed so that KRPU staff and instructors can record their working hours using the KRPU online system instead of using fingerprints or hand signatures for "Work from Home," in accordance with the measures to prevent and monitor the spread of the contagious coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19 (version 5), starting from March 24, 2020.
