KPRU SET4C Promotes Sustainable Energy and Community Development
Sustainable Cities and Communities
The university has established the Smart Energy and Community Innovation Business Learning Center Project, known as the Energy Garden, to promote and support learning on smart energy and community-based innovation businesses. The project continuously conducts training and activities for students and the local community, covering both theoretical and practical aspects.
With the goal of developing a comprehensive learning hub, the Energy Garden was built to serve not only students but also the local community. Constructed on previously undeveloped land, the center integrates mixed-use spaces, including residential, business, and recreational areas, while maintaining ample green space. The building applies sustainable architectural concepts and incorporates a smart farming and smart office model, primarily powered by solar energy, to reduce electricity costs and promote long-term energy efficiency.
