Environmentally Friendly Procurement

Responsible Consumption and Production

The university has implemented the Green Office Initiative since 2018, beginning with the Academic and Administrative Building (Building 14) as a pilot unit. The initiative aims to promote an environmentally friendly workplace through a series of comprehensive policies and practices, including the adoption of a Green Procurement Policy.

Under this policy, KPRU has established a procurement committee dedicated to promoting the use of environmentally responsible products and services. The university has also signed cooperation agreements with suppliers to ensure that procurement processes comply with sustainability and environmental standards. These actions help reduce environmental impact, conserve natural resources, and contribute to national efforts in addressing climate change and global warming.

KPRU strictly adheres to green procurement guidelines, evaluating each stage of the purchasing process to ensure that all products and services are sourced from eco-friendly and sustainable operations. The university also updates its green product and service list regularly to maintain suitability, efficiency, and alignment with evolving sustainability standards—demonstrating its continuous commitment to sustainable development and responsible resource management.
