Responsible Consumption and Production

The university has implemented the Green Office since 2018 with the Academic and Administrative Building (Building 14) as its first department to the green office model. Many policies and measurements have been created to push forward environmentally friendly workplace, including environmentally friendly procurement policy. Concerning the policy, the university has established the procurement committee to persuade KPRU people to reconsider using environmentally friendly products.

Therefore, KPRU set the guidelines for product procurement that reduce the environmental impact. To achieve the goal, KPRU will carefully consider every stage of procurement to ensure that the products and services are derived from environmentally friendly processes. KPRU will update the product and service list continually and suitably for the operation. (part of the university’s announcement on March 15, 2018)
